I Heart Makeup All Day and Night Eyeliner Review | Makeup Revolution
Hey Lovelies,
I have been thinking about investing in multiple eyeliners as I seem to find flaws with a lot, either the colours fade away, or they seem to crack during the day, depending on the formula. I've had a love-hate relationship with pencil type liners as they don't tend to have a strong colour, unless they're expensive.
Makeup Revolution surprised me one morning with this cute little bundle of I Heart Makeup All Day and Night Eyeliners* in 6 gorgeous shades. The first thing I noticed was that there was a black and then 5 other colours. I'll admit, I'm not the most daring female out there and don't tend to go for bright eyes, I'm a smokey eye and bright lip kinda gal.
The shades from top to bottom:
Channeling My Inner
Lustful Ways
The Last Laugh
Dangerous Games
Stars Come Out
One Sin Too Many?
The formula is creamy and smooth to apply. My favourite is Stars Come Out, it's a black-ish shade with subtle blue glitter and I can see how it could compliment everyone who wears it. It's one of those super-wearable shades; moving itself into my everyday section of makeup!
As for lasting power, obviously the darker shades are going to stand out the most and last longer, being a lasting eyeliner too, but at the end of the day, the green faded into a nice hint of colour, which I didn't mind at all, same for the gold too.
The one liner I've not worn the most is Channeling My Inner, the brown shade. I seem to be one of those people who seem to wear black eyeliner, maybe the odd pop of colour, but never wearing neutral shades. I do use my Naked 3 palette a lot, but most of them are subtle pink shades. I can't remember the last time I wore brown makeup, if I ever have. I will make it my mission to try to make myself try these types of shades at least.
Although the eyeliners didn't last all day long, that being possibly as I have oily eyelids sometimes, it did last really well considering. The gold also looks really nice all over your lids, as the soft texture makes it easy to blend in.
I have a little bit of a love affair with Makeup Revolution, so no doubt you'll see more reviews soon!
