Hi Lovelies!
As of today I've changed my blog name, design, and url. I did like the 'Blonde Velvet Lover' name, but wondering how I'd feel in a few years time made me question whether I'd want to keep it.
After questioning myself few about 2 months I finally decided to just go with www.laurahadley.co.uk. I would have gone with .com but it was £350 a year on GoDaddy! I know! Insane.My name is my name, I like it and can't get bored of it, because it's what I've been called for nearly 21 years.
Huge thank-you to Carly who created my blog design and installed it for me, doing everything from sketching out my ideas based on pictures I'd sent her, making social media buttons and signatures to getting into the nitty gritty of me being fussy and wanting things to exactly how I liked it. It took her just a day to do all this for me, and when I was ready for it to be installed, she did it. She's so lovely to talk to and won't mind if you're being picky (Sorry Carly!) and I'd recommend her to anyone. It pays to be lovely and talented!
Anyway, I hope you all like my new design and name! I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders having my blog personalised, because at the end of the day it's my online portfolio of my writing skills, and showing the world what I'm interested in.
