Lazy Dogz Luxury Slipper Unboxing
Christmas time makes me think of one thing in particular; it's cold outside and you're snuggled up inside with a fluffy blanket, cup of hot cocoa in hand with cosy slippers on. Lazy Dogz have given me a head start to this winters night dream. Whether you're buying a gift for someone or treating yourself, these slippers will help you wind down and feel nice and toasty. I'm unboxing the Sadie Pink Suede Moccasin Slippers (£35)* today and will tell you why I'm absolutely head over heels for them.
Described as a 'timeless classic moccasin', this pair of slippers is handcrafted with a luxurious gold suede detail, featuing the Lazy Dogz branded rubber sole lozenge for durability, plush faux fur lining and beauty gold glitter bow on top. They've also available in beige, available in single sizes and they come wrapped in tissue paper in a branded box with gift tag and ribbon. From choosing the slippers that were right for me, all the way until I opened the box I felt like I had been taken care of, which makes such a difference when it comes to buying an investment piece. For me, slippers need to be durable, comfortable, warm and long lasting, and I have a strong feeling the Sadie Moccasin Slippers have checked off all the boxes here.
Although I'm not the most fashion-conscious person out there, I work from home and dress myself as if I were in an office, with the exception of footwear. When you're typing away all day you want to feel comfortable and warm, and the fit of the Sadie Moccasin Slippers makes me feel exactly that. They're sturdy slippers that hug your feet and are most definitely luxurious. I've previously bought cheap slippers with the intention of throwing them away after a few months as I didn't thing slippers would last, but I've had these a few weeks and they still feel as good as new. I'm naturally a clumsy person and have twisted my ankle from dodgy slippers in the past and since I've worn these I've not slipped once, which is due to the durable sole underneath. The moccasin style also looks the part and they're the most stylish pair of slippers I've had the pleasure of wearing.
Aside from the slippers themselves, I wanted to talk a bit more about the brand. Since 2001, Lazy Dogz have dedicated themselves to the production of their luxurious footwear that feels and looks amazing. Their entire collection is based on a wealth of knowledge and confidence that they're doing their job properly. Being a British Brand, they are supporting Manchester Dogs' Home this Christmas as they continue to recover from last year's tragic fire, and for every pair of slippers they sell until Christmas Even 2016, they will donate £1 to their cause. If that's not an incentive, I'm not sure what is! I'm so happy they're helping out for this great cause, and it's lovely buying something knowing you can do your part to give to charity at the same time.
If you're buying someone a gift this Christmas or wanting to treat yourself to some well deserved slippers, have a look on the Lazy Dogz website. On there you can find both male and female slippers, with different varieties including boot slippers, backless slippers and other moccasin styles. Looking at the design, they have velvet bows, dog prints (including pugs, poodles and dachshunds), polka dots, pom poms and more. In fact, they even have free delivery for all orders over the Christmas period that are sent via Royal Mail First Class so they arrive so quickly. If you put your order in before 1pm they are normally dispatched the very same day. Everything about the service screams high quality and professional, and that's why I'll be recommending Lazy Dogz to everyone I know who loves their slippers.
